Minnesota State Patrol Looking for Car Involved in Fatal Hit-And-Run Accident With Motorcycle

Dave Langevin - Monday, August 26, 2013

The Minnesota State Patrol says a passenger who fell off a motorcycle has died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.

The impact occurred late Saturday night just north of Sauk Centre, near the entrance to a nearby golf course.

Troopers say the victim was a passenger on a motorcycle heading north on US Highway 71.  The male fell off the motorcycle and was hit by another driver heading the same direction.  The driver did not stop after the collision.

Authorities said the vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to the front bumper and debris at the scene suggests it was a Buick Regal.
